She claimed that she is the only female ‘Tumbi’ player in the world. She says that Lal chand yamla jatt, Md Sadeek have inspired her to play Tumbi. Tumbi and Punjab culture is her passion from childhood, but she took it more seriously when she participated in a youth festival during her graduation.Ustad Mundri Ji is her Tumbi guru. She is still learning Tumbi.
Apart from Singing Anmol Gagan Mann is also a very good writer. Recently she have Released her book ‘How To Be Real Human’. She is writing poems and songs from her childhood days. She prefers to sing her own written songs. ‘Sohni’ Anmol’s first song, was also written by her.
